losing power
yesterday whilst driving my saxo it just lost power. On the dashboard appeared a bright orange square with a key sort of inside it. The car would not start until this stopped flashing. After about 20mins. the car would restart and off I went. Any idea what this flashing light is. Used car today and it was fine, no flasging light.

It's the immobiliser light. Your key might be dirty, give it a clean and hope it doesn't happen again.
p.s wrong section, should be in problems and queries area

Thanks for info. new to forum, so still finding way around. Will try cleaning key, hopefully all will be well then. We thought it may be immobiliser light but did not realise we had one on the car.
