Default seatbelt pretensioners

i fully stripped my car to day, seats, doorcards, carpets everything you can think of really. just one little problem, i wont have my bucket seats for a week and abit yet so have put my seats back in. the problem is my airbag light is flashing and as i drive my car every day i will go mad! just want to know y they are going off as i have connected the pretensioners back up? i will takre them out along with the air bag system when i buy a new steering wheel, but i need this fixed in the mean time. would disconnecting my battery help to reset the system. rep will be given

if you`ve put the original seats back in and connected the pretensioner wire back up it should go out straight away. if not i would disconnect the battery for say 30mins then connect it again see if it goes out. if problem occurs i would say take the pretensioners wires off the seat and put them straight back on to see if its a bad connection. one off these has got to solve it
