Idle problems
just swapped my mk1 vts engine for a new one as the old bottom end had gone.
the cars starts and runs but the idle is all over the place and the engine is vibrating pretty bad along with the exhaust.
the timing is all correct as iv done this a numbe rof times and the same on each attempt.
there was a bit of dodgy wiring on the crankshaft sensor so im putting it down to this.
i noticed the knock sensor was unplugged yesterday and plugged that in and its still the same.
can anybody tell me exactly where the map sensor is and any pics would be brill.
