Default Fogs?????

hi guys
i keep getting condensation in my fog lights.
i have re-sealed them and still having trouble.
does anyone know if i can spray them black and still pass mot??

yes mate its not an mot failure, your not spraying the reflective bit

with regrads to condenstation in them, run another bead of silicone around them and work it in with your finger then wipe off with a wet finger

I had this problem on my VTS and I removed the lens and re-sealed it but it was still steaming up. Another way round it would be to make a little hole for the air to circulate. That way, there's not a continuous seal for the air to become trapped.

I did that on one of my Saxo's...



And no, it's not an MOT failure. Some cars nowadays still don't have foglights. Even still, foglights aren't used with your main lights (unless you're a chav).

Btw, just remember that over time, the spray will start to wear away due to stone chips, etc...

Nah that wasn't the Saxo I sold to Alex. The one above was my VTR. I sold the VTS to Alex

You should have been able to tell that the pic above is not from the VTS as it's not colour coded

where did you have yours colour coded cuz arent you not far from wyc area?
