Default idle control valve

been having problems with my vtr for a while now, it revs on its own when stopped sometimes nearly touching 3000 revs an sometimes drops really low its only cut out twice but its just of its head do you recon its the idle valve if so how much are they? an can u fit them your self.

sounds like it could be the valve i would take it off and clean it up with something like wd40 its just a sensor that sits at the back of the throttle housing held on by a couple of bolts
