Default Sunroof mechanism play

I've got a snag with my sunroof (tilt and slide). I've had my VTR for about a month. Sunroof will open and close, but, there's a fair bit of play in the mechanism handle. I've had the handle off to make sure the splines were not worn, and they look fine. I then felt for play in the mechanism itself. There's almost a quarter of a turn of play. Well maybe not that much, but it's there and doesn't feel as it should for my liking. Are there any adjustments required anywhere. The Haynes says "Sunroof jobs should be done buy a Citroen dealer due to the complexity of the job". Haynes doesn't give any details about the mechanism. It just shows where the three securing screws are for the mechanism. Somebody on here must have done this before. Before I get slated, I did search for similar threads but had no luck. Any advise would be a bonus.

Hi to all as this is my first post.

Surely there's a way to take up the slack in the cables. Does anybody have any phot's or exploded views of the moving parts?
