Default braziers' VT-1.1 Progress Thread - Small Update with Pics

Could never really be bothered to start a thread on my car before.
But I thought I might aswell put one together after the work I've done recently.
So here it is!

Bought my car in February 2007, a Mk2 Saxo 1.1i Desire, X Reg, 34,000 miles on the clock.
Was in awesome condition when I went to view it so I took the oppotunity and bought it.
Was completely standard to start off with, even had the original hubcaps .

It wasnt long before I had some ideas on some mods for it.
First came the idea of some VTR alloys for it.
Snapped some up on ebay for £100 quid in mint condition with near new michelin pilots .

It then got the the summer and i still hadnt got round to taking my driving test, so I stopped putting money into my car as it wasnt in use.

It then got to October, I took my test and passed first time
So the car was an interest again.
I thought long and hard about what i wanted to do it it.
Looked at several bodykits for it, but in the end I just wanted it looking normal, so...
I bought a complete VT* kit for it.
In Posi Blue already, and in really good condition.

Couldnt wait to get it fitted, but looked around at several places for fitting and they were going to charge alot for a job I thought I could do myself.
So I started with fitting the bumpers...

Looked good, but obviously looked abit silly without the rest of the kits on there.
Next came the door panels and the rear arches,
Along with some nice german style plates ....

Left it over Christmas as it was way too cold to fit the rest of the kit.

Got to mid january when it started to warm (abit),
So I got to work finishing my kit...

Looks really good and im really happy that I saved myself alot of money doing it myself.
Following Willsys guide of course
And there we have it so far.
What is everyones opinions on it?
Here are some shots I took yesterday with a couple of mates...
