Hi guys,
I've decided i'm going to give the saxo a decent clean tomorrow.
I've got:-
Wash and wax
Wax

De-tar
Tyre blackening stuff
Window cleaning stuff
Tomorrow morning i'm going to get:-
Drying towel
Wheel cleaner
Quick detailer
Is there anything else i should be considering??
Cheers,
Josh

Just use a window cleaner, much cheaper than the megs stuff. You can get them for a few quid from supermarket

rinse
wash using 2 bucket method
rinse
clay bar it
rinse
wash again
rinse
dry using drying towels
polish
sealant
wax
trim detailer (can be done before or after the cars been dried)
tyre shine (can be done before or after the cars been dried)
you'll also need some Micro fibre cloths for buffing off the polish, sealant and wax. and so applicator pads for applying them. you can just use a cloth for applying the trim detailer and tyre shine depending which one you use

good stuff
i always clean my wheels and arches first as i use the jet wash and it can spray muck over the body work
i use autoglym wheel cleaner as im impressed with the results, avoid megs wheel cleaner as its been known to strip paint from wheels (adsayers vts rims iirc)
for windows id clean them then apply ag glass polish, i find after cleaning with a normal window cleaner its streaky.
