Gave The VXR A Detail. 56k Keep Walking...
Spent a good few hours cleaning the car today as boss decided he didnt feel well so i had no work to do and cleaned the car.
Also after seeing mikes ZS Detailed to perfection i felt guilty the state mine was in.
The car had been 200miles the day before (bournemouth meet), to and from the coast and managed to get filthy from the grit on the motorways.
Pics:
What I Used today (as i only had 1 bucket i used a hose to rinse the mitt out before re-soaping)
Before:
A Rinse Off:
Then Gave it a wash with this:
After Drying off used autoglym Super resin polish to restore the colour:
The Results:
Then Polished it again with Ultra Deep Shine:
The Difference:
Thought Id try out some Meguires Tech Wax I bought:
After Applying it to the car:
Went out to grab a few snaps:
Took about 5 hours to get it done "by hand" but im happy with the results.
All comments welcome

first few pics dont do it any justics must be the light as it doesnt look very spesh or even a new reg car tbh, i hate that when you clean your car and it doesnt look that great in photos in certain light if its a certain colour (usually reds or light blues)

Cheers for all the comments everybody
the corsa is a sort of red that changes colour depending on where the light hits, so some pictures look like it hasnt been polished in a year
What tyre gel do people reccomend as the stuff i have is a liquid and just seems to look good for 5 mins then looks like i havnt bothered?
