Hi,

After looking for quite a while I thought I would take a gamble on the following Cat.D VTS, managed to get it for £950, is this over the odds??

The not so good ones






















The door that has the damage will open & close fine, the electric window open and close fully, the sills & a pillar dont show any signs of folding and the damage thankfully seem to be to the door and back quarter around the handle reses.

Your thoughts/opinions please.

doesnt look too bad, bit that looks like it might be hassle is the passenger side rear quarter pannel where its batter round the door handle part

Cheers for the commets.

I'm hoping swapping the door over will allow a MOT pass??

Once I get that sorted I can start getting quotes on how much it will be to fix the rear quarter. I'm get the car tommorow (trailored) so I am hoping to get some more detailed pics of the inside of the quarter panel to get some more opinions of the damage, from what I saw it didnt look to bad at all.

Again, cannot see why that's a CAT D as it isn't major damage to be fair.

Car looks good though, won't cost you loads either to make it 100% so I think you got a good deal. Why have you got a MK2 VTR Interior though?

Thats a good point, I saw that as well, I have'nt been able to figure that out yet, when it arrives I will have a peer all round and see if it has been replaced for what ever reason, sourcing VTS interior shouldnt be to hard thou.

Debating keeping it as track car.. hmmm.. not sure
