VTS rocker covers
whats the best way of painting them and preping them for paint? and can you use normall paint or does it have to be heat stuff?
P.S pics please if you have done it!!!!

cheers, just make sure you give them a good rub down with some wet&dry to take the crap off them and make them smooth and ready for first coat

What ya use to put them back on again??? do you use like a gasket selant? coz of course there aint a gasket for them???

on the bottom of each rocker cover is a small gasket, be carefull not to damage it when removing and when its off the car, just put it back on again and do up tight, thats all ive done and no leaks

have to be careful with rocker cover gaskets as they break easily, ensure when putting it back on smear a little oil round the gasket. also check to make sure theres no shite around the seal, will make it leak
