Mani has blown :(
Well not a good start.. only bought my car 2 weeks ago, and the manifold has blown today! Sounds ridiculously loud and tappety lol. Anyways, might aswell upgrade to a 4-2-1 or 4-1 mani, any recommendations? Ive seen the raceland, but relocation of the oil filter is needed. I'll probably be getting the work done by a garage, would any1 know a reasonable quote for this job?
Regards,

I feel disgusting! My dads just been round to look at my mani, the exhaust has totally dropped off from the cat convertor. Its hanging on by a sensor. He demanded me to take it to kwik fit and get it sorted - and me being a busy person need my car all hours of the day therefore took it this morning. Well, ive just paid £200 for a new mani (with cat) and fitting. I feel sick, ive just been totally ripped off. But what could I do, I dont have time to look around for a new mani/second hand one. ARRRRRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Its your car and your money, not his!
Surely there is another alternative to using your car for a day or two till you got the manifold ordered and fitted it yourself?
