unlock it while it's still in the donor car, or if you've already removed it you send it away to be unlocked which costs £95

not in the mk1, the mk1 has a keypad and transponder whereas in the mk2 the keypad is replaced with a transponder on the igntion barrel which only matches the key. he's talking about fitting a mk1 engine into a mk2.
And please type in English.
Bluehawk unlocked my vts ecu for my conversion, very good service and 3-day turnaround.

Ive heard so many prices from bluehawk recently.
My mate sent his the other day and they told him £107 over the phone.
then there was a problem with it due to the fuel pump not priming of some shizzle so the price went up to £184.
and he was a right pain in the arse to get in contact with over the phone lol

ill still be fitting a mk1 vts engine into a mk1 vtr, however my car doesnt have the keypad to unlock the ecu, whereas the car the mk1 engine came out off had the keypad to unlock the ecu.

then just send it away to be unlocked. bear in mind that bluehawk actually cut the immobiliser circuit inside the ecu so you'll now have no immobiliser.
