wheel spacers?

iv'e got 1 inch wheel spacers for my 17"s and every time it rains they get covered in surface rust and look really shitty,is this common? anyway of stopping it?

lol, yeah a nice coat of paint should do the trick. I guess they're mild steel? probably weigh a fair amount then..?



Or if you want them to look metallic, clean the rust up and lacquer them with clear lacwuer.
