check the orange wires under the front seats.
disconnect them then reconnect them as this sometimes works.
or just wiggle them about a little.

sonnyjim2.. checked the connections, all fine.
I have to say, all previous posts i've read mention a "flashing airbag light".. mine doesn't flash, it just constantly stays on... is that an indication of a worse problem than the "flashing light"?

when it happened to mine it was on all the time and i was told about the wire under the seat.
so all i did was to pull the connectors apart wiggle it then reconnect it and all was ok and still is since then.

shouldnt need to take seats out.. just unclip the orange wires and recconnect a few times, might just be a tiny bif of dust or something making the bad connection..

theres a thread about it in the saxp "faq's" section

thanks ashley. Yer tried the unclipping / reclipping thing it didn't work.. so im gonna check the connections under the carpet next to the handbrake.

Do you know whether theres anything that "registers" if its not clipped against the seat correctly? I can't imagine so as its only a saxo.. but just wanted to double check

If that does not work unscrew the ignition column shrouds theres a orange wire from the airbag contact ring that plugs into another orange wire check these are connected right(t20)torx bit for the shroud screws.
