yes this is a rant, and i dont care,

Just had a call off my girlfriend saying her bags have been robbed. They were down the River chilling and when they got out it turns out that both of her bags have been stolen. I know its pretty stupid leaving your stuff unattended but tbh thats not the point.

Gone was her purse, car keys, clothes, money, fags etc etc. The theiving sod also went into the car and stole the CD's, not the CD player mind, and pretty much everything else that was in the car.

Ok so there were 6 other people down the river when they got there. 3 girls, and a bunch of chavs. Surprise surprise, the chavs had gone by the time the stuff had been stolen.

One of my mates knows the name of one of the chavs as he used to go to his school. We rang up the police approx 15 minutes ago and they said there was nothing they can do for now.

Basically told my girlfriend even though we know the name of the person (not deffinately saying it was him, but tbh, it looks that way) it doesnt look like there is much they can do. Useless.

The thing that has pissed me off the most is that i got caught pissing in the street about 6 months ago now, and got off with a repremand, and i got caught again the other day (naughty naughty i know).

I now have to go in and pay an 80quid fine. I basically claimed i didnt do it, as they didnt see me so to speak, more they saw me coming from around the back of a bin. Ive basically said in the statement that i didnt do it etc etc, now theyre taking me to court basically for lying to them.

I know i should have just said i did it etc, but they have no concrete proof. I suppose its one of those, their word over mine circumstances.

Raging now. Want to go round the house of the kid and have words, although it probably wont solve anything. Infact fuck it, hes upset my girlfriend and put me off my work so maybe i will.

Just had to get that off my breast.

Im not a violent person,
I literally mean go round and have a word with him. Tell him that if the stuff doesnt get returned ASAP the boys are coming after him. Im all mouth no action really haha.

Tbh I dont think 13 year old girls should be swimming in rivers anyway, and she shouldn't have car keys or fags at that age..

Maybe if the police didnt have to waste so much of there time dealing with people doing stupid things like urinating in the street and then lyaing about it instead of having the back bone to admit they are in the wrong then they might have half a chance at catching some real criminals who steal bags ect.

Furthermore just because you think this chav is/has been involved we live in a society where PROOF is a requirement for justice.

Imagine the situation:

"hmmm im skint i know ill call the police and say danhunt has just nicked £100 off me i know this cos a mates, brothers, sisters , boyfiends, work friend told me and he is deffo telling the truth" you get arrested and have to give me £100 because in YOUR society we dont need proof "

Yeah that sounds like good justice doesnt it???

seems the west mercia constabulary dont like someone getting ratty on the phone. They have agreed to send out a squad car in the next hour.
Persuasive skills ftw.

Laura, dont think he would give shite back, he's not a "hard pikey" so to speak.

He's 15 and a bit chavvy, a few words should make him come to his senses tbh. Basically all hayley wants back is the driving license, her bank cards and her car keys.

I wouldnt mind my Hospitalised, roni size and High contrast CD's back either tbh.

I said i THINK he is involved. I didnt say at any point it was him. The fact that there were 6 other people there (in an area which is 5 miles out of the city centre and not near any villages etc) raises eyebrows when in the 10 minutes of the bags being stolen the 3 chavs have dissapeared.

If they didnt waste so much time looking for petty criminals then maybe they could sort out some real crimes.
The fact that most of them drive round doing nothing then dont respond to more urgent calls is above me.

Yesterday i counted 2 riot vans, 1 mobile CCTV and 3 squad cars outside a local school to deal with a big bunch of skateboarders. Bit OTT me thinks.

No neg rep from me, i have never neg repped, dont see the point tbh. You have made valid points but its not the way i see it tbh.

Well question them for one? They were in the area so therefore they would either be potential witnesses or suspects dont you think?

You got caught pissing in the street and got done for it...

Someone stole some bags, no one was seen doing it and you blame the police for being useless...........yes it probably was the chav fuckers who stole it but you need proof or suspicion...........which you dont have...

If the cops had to deal with everyone who 'thinks' someone did something....you would still piss and moan cause there were no cops on the streets....they would be dealing on what people think and not 'know'

Not bitching at you mate but it annoys me when i read threads like this slating the police, when after the post has been read theres little they could do anyways...........

Yeah question them would be ideal however

As a witness they can not be forced to give any info and can even refuse to be seen by the police

and as a suspect to speak to them that would constitue an interview whcih means they would have to be arrested and as per the 1st thread no evidence.

For the record i dont agree with it the law is an ass but thats just the way it is.
