Astra VXR.. Quick Detail - Saxperience

Right guys saying as the detailing section has become pretty dull thought i would stick up a post of a quick detail of the vxr at the weekend.

Total Time : 6 hours

Got out the gilly pre washed with an apc to remove old waxes

Then washed again with the gilmour some CYC snow foam maxi suds 2 and shampoo plus mix

Clay Barred using megs mild blue and quik detailer for lube

Wheels done by just ordinary shampoo ( Maxi suds 2 ) Because wheels weren't entirely dirty.

Engine was covered up then soaked in megs degreaser then agitated with a brush then rinsed throughly..

Car was then takin inside taped up then polished with megs show car glaze and then waxed using Natty's blue and left to cure then buffed off.. Wheels were sealed with PB Wheel sealent and here are some of the pictures

Was it Nattys Paste wax you used, if so how long did you leave the wax on for once applied..i tend to just put it on then buff it straight off....

Yeah indeed it was buddy.. your supposed to let it dry to a haze so by the time you have evenly applied it all over the bonnet it should be fine to buff off

If it's straight on straight off it will make beading a little better but if left on for say 30 seconds it will make a bigger difference.
