Black saxo cleaning Advice
Any of you guys+gals have good cleaning tips for a black vts
So Far I have clayed it and used autoglym aqua wax, anyone else find this stuff hard to buff up on the bonnet or roof or any tips on how to use, it was used on a wet car, found it easy to apply, but a bitch to buff up, not impressed so far
I usually Clay,AG srp then AG egp and that usually does the trickon other colour cars, but on my black vts its got a few Carwash swirls/scratches etc and some type of water stain thingymabob on the bonnet, sorry for the shit description,Its all done by hand maybe I should Invest in some type of elctrical gizmo
All Help/Advice/Ideas Appreciated
Can up pics later if thats any use

Sounds like you may be applying too much polish.
WIthout a machine polisher you cannot REMOVE the swirl marks. SRP is the best product out there to mask them, but if yours are severe it will not have a massive difference

No, you dont need a polisher is you can rotate your hand a a few thousand rpm fast enough to acutally break down the products that you are using.

Lambs wool wash mitt
2 buckets
shampoo of your choice (not fairy liquid)
clay bay
drying towel
autoglym super resin polish (unless you want to go down maching polishing line)
poorboys natty wax or something similar
will give good results mask some of the swirls but wont remove them.

Ive a black vtr and its a real bugger to keep clean lol
but i wash mine using autoglym body shampoo (2 bucket method - wanna keep swirlage down ) dont use chamois cuz they'll mark ur car, believ it or not lol i recently just bought a poor boys waffle weave & its amazing, or u could just use a microfibre to dry it.
Then i use either super resin or ultra deep shine!
Then I wax it using Chemical guys PEtes 53 - this stuff is amazing!!
I just bought myself some Blackfire gloss enhancing polish and Poor boys black hole glaze, never used either of these before but hopefully they do a good job.
I also apply everything by hand, so you dont always need a buffer to keep your car clean.
Heres a few pics of mine lookin quite clean
