which is quicker? random i know just asking to settle this. im confused as vtr has more bhp and zetec more valves which counts?

It's all about power to weight ratio. the saxo is much lighter and has the better power to weight ratio than the zetec so it will be quicker

dont ask for advice and then ask if where sure,as all above vtr wins! More power and less weight. Valves dont count for everything. 1 litre 16 valve micras are hardly rapid now are they? Tell your mate to deal with the fact her car is slower or get her to buy something faster

Can see where this is heading, we know the saxo is quicker. No point dragging it out.
If you want to look at how the 1.6 zetecs do against the vtrs then search as its been covers millions of times.....
