nooooo, just letting you know the situation that im in. im not asking you to compare the two cars at all, any advice on things i should look out for/check if buying a vtr would be appreciated. why the hostility towards a different manufacturer of car anyways?!

2k will get you a nice vtr tbh
check on pistonheads i was planning on getting a mk2 vtr for under 2k off there recently and i found a few decent ones
big step from a 1.0 to a vtr though lol
edit: also does that budget include insurance
cos im guessing your 17-18 and with one years ncb its gonna be about 1500 on insurance

circumstances have changed in the past 24 hrs. have £1600 to spend on the car. Ive been quoted £1200 insurance 3rd paty Fire & Theft and can afford that also.
seen a few mk2s on autotrader with 50/60k miles for £1600 but when i ring up theyre already gone!! spose its just a case of being patient.
