Post shattered

.. my rear window today Thought I would dewiper the sax but had real trouble taking the wiper arm off as it had rusted on. Pulled it just a little too hard and it shattered everywhere Not sure what to do, do I just get it repaired at a garage and pay full price or should I go through insurance as they would help pay for it. Would I lose NCB if I was to get it repaired through my insurance company?

Just got to a scrappy, get any old sax tailgate...take it to a local glass place (or RAC windows if you have one) and they will put the window from the scrao tail gate into yours...ive smashed both my saxos windows...thats what i did, cos me 30quid first time then a year later 40 quid (he said the glue got more expensive lol)

It took absolutely ages for Alix and I to get the rear wiper bits off my car. In the end we got most of it off and took it to a friend of my brothers and he pulled it off with some mulgrips!! I was sure my rear window was going to come out though!!

Bad luck though, hope you get it all sorted

No need to get a brand new window, they're well expensive and second hand one's are just as good!! i need one lol as i've got a spare flushed boot an tried the old bit of broken spark plug enamel trick on it! (anyone not familiar, if you hit the top of an old sparkplug with a hammer and then pick up a piece of the broken enamel, even though they are small pieces, if you chuck it at a window the window instantly shatters into millions of pieces) wot a fukin mess that made. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME lol!
