I mean 2ohm load, not 1ohm..

And what comes to that power handling thing. You can't really have too much of power. Ok, I'm not talking that you can shoot 10kW to a tweeter but really, soundquality provens a lot if you've power to run the speaker. No, I don't mean with soundquality that it can produce lots of soundpressure.. I'm talking things like dynamic and separation..

You can have powerfull amp but you don't have to screw the gain to its max.

exactly its always better to have an overly powerful amp and turn the gain down, than having a less powerful amp and turning the gain right up

It will run it but it is only 1 channel, to get the best sound out of the subs i would think you would need a 2 channel amp?
