Sky+ Remote Control
Yesterday I changed the batteries on my sky + remote. Now the volume button doesn’t work. Anybody know how to fix this?

You need to reprogram your TV make and model into your remote.
If you search google it will give you a site and the list of codes to sync the control with the TV.

if your lucky the code may be wrote on the inside of your battery cover. It should have stored it if you took less than 10mins to swap the batts :s

Thats why I always change my batterys one at a time, with my mouse and remotes and that...
So there is still just enough power to keep the memory stored...

95% of the time taking one of the batterys out breaks the circuit, so your pissing in the wind there.

lol, the code is stored in memory, but it needs power to keep it stored (much like the battery on your motherboard is there to keep the CMOS settings) but i assume theres a capacitor or something that keeps it stored for about 2 minutes (i've changed my remoted batterys a million times )
