Selling on piston heads
I've got my 1.1. on Piston Heads and someone was emailed me offering me a cash amount to take the car off me tomorrow - is this kind of normal? Cause he's not even mentioned a test drive or anything? I'm just a bit weary cause I don't want to get messed around.

Write a receipt "sold as seen"

yeah just check a few randomly selcted notes to check there real make sure its not a scam like that as well at the end of the day once he has the car and you have the cahs does it matter lol

They'll probably come with the intention to buy if you're description / photos are as the car is.
May ask for a test drive aswell.
Day after I put the V6 for sale on there some guy said pretty much the same thing, took him for a quick drive and paid the cash, deal done.

Thanks for the advice guys! Even though I'm 27 and onto my 4th car now, I've never actually sold one before! He's offered me only 75% of what it's advertised for so I've asked for more money, cause I think it's worth it.

if you go for the free option then your add goes right to the back, you can pay £7 for preem then your add will be on the first page. free ads come after all the dealer and preem adverts.

If you sign up and become a member then you don't have to pay the £7 premium charge, so your advert will go on the first page and for free.
