Default possibly wheel bearing

just got a new car,bmw 318is coupe,its lush and great to drive but theres a funny wirling noise coming from the rear passenger side wheel and gets louder and faster the faster i go,is this the wheel bearing,it also kicks out slightly over bumps/potholes on road.

sounds like it mate, not 100% sure though. The only reason i say that it could be is cos my mate has a similar noise on his golf and a mechanic told him it was his wheel bearing.

Yip it definatly sounds like your wheel bearing, failing that it could be your cv joint too. Jack it up and rock the wheel to check for movement.

How can you get a CV joint at the REAR PASSENGER side you plonka?
