Rubbing
Right Ive just picked some peeps up from town so had a call full (5 people with 3 obviously on the back seat). Now everytime I went over a slight bump the drivers side rear wheel seem to rub and make a squeaking noise. There arnt any springs on the back so could it be a damper problem? The car hasnt been lowered btw fully standard

no alloys either yeah?
i think its just what saxo's do. i had 5 in mine the other day, not lowered, but with 15's and it rubbed so badly i had to get 2 to walk.
i dont think theres anything you can do.

There VTR alloys all tyres practically brand new but its only just started!

On flatarch Saxos the lip around the rear arches need to be folded or grinded off. This is essential if you want to lower your car. My flatarch was lowered 80mm on the rear with no problems once I had the arch lips folded

What size tyres did you use btw ?
I have just changed my tyres to 195 50 15's and its rubbing alot worse than the 195 45 15's ! they just seem to stick out more slightly.

Mine was on 195/45/15's, lowered 80mm with 2 passengers in the back still didnt rub (probably because the suspension was solid lol)
Have you done any archwork?

Not a damper problem sam, just the softness of the dampers of the rear causing this. Uprated dampers+shocks will stop this from being as much of an issue but I am surprised it's happening with 14's. Try 3 heavy blokes in the car the seats folded down and a boot ful to the ceiling of camping gear and not having any rubbing
