Thumbs down Crashed The VTR!! :(

It was Thursday night and I was coming home from my GF's house.

It had been raining heavily for hours and had only just stopped.

Turned out from the top of her road to be greated by a dog.

Slammed brakes on, front left wheel hit curb, bounced off sending

my rear left wheel smashing into the curb in a catapult effect.

Now the damage doesn't look that bad.

BUT

IT IS!

Need's ... new brake disk (cracked in half), brake pads, tortion bar's bent, anti role bent, radius arm, rear part of the exhaust.

Then will need to get two of my alloys refurbed.

All this at only 30 MPH. Just goes to show anything can happen.

Now I have no car for 1 week.

The repairs will cost me me £1250 as I have no time to go round scrappys.

This is ALOT of money just to put it on the road, when I can buy another saxo for around £2000!

Would you repair it or scrap it? Only had it 4 months not even that and put £800 into modding it.

Here are some pics

Im well gutted.

Lol at your back wheel. If its going to cost that much i would prob break it sell it for spares. You would be able to get all parts alot cheeper from scrappy but you say you dont have the time, so you prob wont have the time to break it.
Depends how much you love your car

Either take the time to find cheaper places to get it fixed, or break it and sell it for spares and get a new car!

Good luck mate

My back wheel done that, If its just the back disks cracked (mine snapped in half) etc etc then you may aswell get a back axle, complete with disks. If its the front brakes, wont you be moddin these anyway? You could try n see this as a "now i have to mod it", thats my way of thinkin lol, then i dont get pissed off as much haha. Good luck with it pal.
