Default rocker cover gasket(seal)

im wanting to paint my rocker cover how hard will it be to change the seal (just straight swap)

If yours is an 8v engine the rubber seal just removes and once it's painted up slips back on again.

If you have a 16v engine the gasket is stuck to the rocker and it doesn't need to come off

yeah 8v going to replace it as theres bit of a split on it how much do they cost also where to get one from?

cool sounds good they are the same as a quicksilver because i could get one from peugeot as its the nearer to me?

Citoren love to charge alot, as with all dealers so id say more than a tenner. Cost my mate £12 just for the "S" on a zetec S badge from Ford. Dealers have a habbit of doing so. lol

yeah well got a few new bolts from peugeot only cost a few quid but £12 for an 's' badge is taking the p**s
