my next mod is lowering my sax and i was after a rough idea of how much this would cost... I been to 1 garage and they said £300 including springs.

I've got a front and rear bumper that already sit low So i'm only willing to go 35mm..... I'm on 16's so i dont need no other work....

How much did everyone else pay for there sax to be lowered?

Dan

£300 is pulling your plonker tbh, even if that does include springs. you should be paying £50-ish for springs, then no more than £150 for labour. unless of course the torsion bar is seized, then it becomes an absolute bastard- even then you should get quotes beforehand and make sure they stick to the quoted price.

£300 is well steep! do they undo your belt and pull your trousers down also or that an additional cost?? got mine done for free. well a bacon & cheese melt & a pint of coke! so i suppose it cost me £5.95!

call around mate! if ur ok wiv car maintenance possibly DIY then get the trackin sorted by the garage... see the "how to guides..." id say £50 for springs, £100 labour... £150... thats half your original quote!!!!!! concider the time it takes to do the job mine was done in 1 1/2 hours!! its not time sonsuming to lower a sax, simple as 123 if all goes to plan!
