Default Ben's VTR Progress Thread! *Back To Black!*

Well been on the site for quite a while now, and so today I finally bought my sax! Havent picked her up yet but gettin her on Tuesday. It's in Newcastle at the minute and i'm in Northern Ireland. So my brothers going over to collect her for me! It's a black 2001 VTR with around 55,000 miles on her. Got the fella down to £1200 and a deposit of £200 has been paid. Heres some of the pics from autotrader.co.uk.

Just one wee problem, there's a dent about the size of my thumb on the drivers side, but i'll sort that out once i get her. Can't wait to get it!

Plans for future:

Lower 45mm at front, 50mm at back
VTS Wheels
Paint badges Black *done*
Paint grille gloss black, *done* chevrons Red *done*
Dewiper *done*
Bee-Sting Aerial *done*
Medium Tints all round, sunstrip
Get VTS Wheels refurbed in red, VTR's in black *in process*
Red Show cage

And thats it for now, tell me what you think of her!

Ben

Plans sound good matey, a few little things though. Make sure the beesting is black, or sprayed black when you get it as the chrome ones look gash and i'd keep the fuel cap black matey, a red one could look a little random. But apart from that it'll be spot on

Personally I'd give the sunstrip + red fuel cap a miss... other than that sounds like a win in the making
