can someone tell me if i buy a plain petrol cap to replace the silver one will my key still fit it ? thanks

i dont think it will. but you can swap the locks over from your old one

oh. if its an aftermarket one, then you might not be able to swap the locks...
thought you meant the silver one was a standard one

So in answer to your question
NO the locks wont change over
EDIT - so you will need the petrol cap AND the key that goes with it.
If you cant do that, its a dealer part tbh (i would imagine anyways)

well i no citroen did a "Citroen Sport" pack for saxo's not sure if it was an option from new, and they have now stopped doing them, but it consisted of a alloy fuel cap, alloy pedals and an alloy gear knob.
I have the gear knob.
If its from the pack it will have "Citroen Sport" wrote on it.
If it does not then no its nothing to do with Citroen and someone has jst slapped it on

put pics of it up, it might just be a cover over the standard plastic body coloured cap. does it use the same key as the one for ignition and doors?
