Default vts gearbox in vtr

if you put a vts gearbox in a vtr what would the outcome be - faster accel or higher top end?

Can anyone think of any reason why this might happen other than the gearbox being f*cked?

I have been told the gearbox is knackered but i want to elimiante any other possibilities before i contac the peron i bought it from

thanks
