Default idling problem and rough drive problem

hi all! im hoping someone could help me out here .. recently iv had alot of work done to my VTR such as replacing the engine (vtr to vtr swap as other was knackered) fuel pump and a few other bits.

but just recently but only on rare occasion the revs kept dropping to the point of stalling when the clutch was dipped, on 2 occasions it did stall effortlessly just like i removed the key from the ignition or something! And now just the other day while i was actually in gear the car started spluttering and juddering sort of as if you were in the wrong gear when you were driving and it was going to stall, that sort of feeling but it only seems to do this when its warm ...

the engine management light has been on a few times but 2 different diagnostics machines cannot connect to the engine management and now its really starting to frustrate me ... iv been told to try changing the MAP sensor or the Coolant temp sensor.

was wondering if anybody has had this problem or knows how to resolve the problem? any help would be appreaciated!

thanks

-Adam
