Default powersteering + heaters

hi,

ive read through a couple of threads about this and it says that if all 3 are not working then its the ignition barrell. (rear heater , powersteering etc) well i tried that and nothing happened so what else could be causing this problem?

it happened about a week ago but then worked again and now its stopped all together also the battery light is only on dash...

Cheers

ah ok... if i check that the output on the battery is 14v when running then this will mean that the alternator is fine? if its not the alternator then what could it be?

thanks
