Default newmans cams advice please

right then

ive been looking at a cam for my vtr, well except when i cam it i will be running the s1 rallye head inlet and ecu etc

now i was looking at the cam from pug and cit on their site, and its confused me a bit rite

i was told that the ph4 would not run as the lift is too high but ive been comparing the ph4 to the cit ph3 and the lift from both the cams are very similar although the ph3 is slightly higher by like 0.08mm lol but the ph4 is a 288deg cam where as the ph3 is 280deg, and the ph2 in the pug section is also a 280deg cam but this has nearly half a mm lift less as the ph3 even though they are the sam degree

so surely this means that the ph4 would run right?

could some please help me and explain this a little more please the diff between them im a little lost, im not the most knowledgable on cams but im trying to learn lol

here are the links to make it easier for you
