Not professing to be any kind of expert, but I've been looking into this for a while now and here's the options I've come up with:
Kent PT30/ Newman PH1 - should give an ok increase in power when combined with breathing mods. Both fairly mild cams so it's not going to give you major problems when selling the car on. A remap isn't mandatory, but would help get the most from the cam. I've seen two cars on here make in the region of 120bhp with the PT30 and PH1 - both 90bhp engines, one with a remap and one without.
Kent PT40 - From my understanding, this cam is between a Newman PH1 and PH3 in terms of specs. Heard from both 1.4 and 1.6 owners that it will run and drive fine without a remap. I'm looking into getting one these with a vernier pulley - trying to avoid the costs of a remap, but will see how I get on.
Newman PH3 - Not found much info on this, but evans1089 claims his idles and drives ok on the standard map. As it's quite a lairy cam, the power band is moved further up the range... would be best to remap and raise the rev limit to 7k to compensate for this.
