Default remote locking

i've searched and found few things saying press your lock button twice etc as i've been looking in my car (a 2000 vtr) i cant see the infrared sensor in the roof i've had the panel off were the sunroof and light are but still cant find it any ideas? as my rcl isnt working

2000 VTR, so you've got a Mk2

Mk2's have RF central locking, only the Mk1's were IR.

Thats the reason you can't find the IR sensor, as there isn't one

similar problem here...I can hear the pass door lock on the button then it immediately unlocks? the drivers side doesn't? works on the key most annoying indeed
