could sum1 tell me what an airlock is and how i can fix it pls?

means you have air in the coolant system you need to bleed the engine.

an airlock depends where abouts your on about? brakes or radiator or fuel?

im taking the obvious being the rad in which chase its trapped air in the system and to sort the problem out you need to bleed the system

yea sorry i should have said the radiator,is it easy to blle the radiator? sorry im new to all this

yes there are 2 "dust cap" like things in the engine bay and one ontop of the themostat

there is a thread on here somewhere on how to do it use the search bud

cheers nickb much appreciated, i think the thermostat cud be on its way out aswel.is it easy to replace that or do i need to do loads of stuf?

Easy to replace mate but you will have to flush the radiator ideally and bleed it

not too tricky though to do!
