106 rear bumper on a saxo ???
i plan on smoothing off my boot and realised i would no longer have anywhere to fit my number plate  .......i looked at a 106 today and realised it had a number plate reses?? in the bumper  so would it be possible to fit one to my saxo ? if not any other suggestions.......... cheers

get your saxo bumper fitted with the recess froma 106?? I think VTEC-Saxo has had something similar done and pics are in his progress thread

this was asked a few days ago
it wont fit properly
best bet is to do like andyk (not vtech) as hes put a 106 recess in a saxo bumper

trust me ive owned a saxo and currently own a 106 and they fit differently
youd need to modify a lot of stuff for it too fit

cut a hole out the same shape, plastic weld in, fiberglass the edges, skim of filler done, that pic looks better than the ones I have seen looks ok down there aswell, most put them in the bump strip bit seems to fit nicely there.
I was gonna do this when I was gonna fully smoth my boot, when I looked into it though, where u need to cut is exactly where the bumper supports are. SO would be hard to stop the filler from cracking as without the supports the bumper has alot of flex!

Get a 106 bumper and a saw, cut out the recess, cut a hole in the Saxo bumper and whack out the fibreglass / plastic welder.
