on a few websites i am on there is a choice to 'remember me' when i log in like on sax-p. I also had it on my hotmail things like that I had this all set up and working nice and then yesterday it has just stopped doing all the rembering stuff everytime i close a window it forgets.
can anyone lend a hand?

Sounds like your cookies are getting blitzed every time you close firefox.
If you're logged in to sax-p, close firefox then open it again and go to sax-p. If you're logged out i'd say your cookies are definitely being deleted. If you are still logged in it could be a number of other things

Couple of things you can check actually:
Tools > Options > Security - Make sure you have the box ticked for remember passwords on sites.
Tool > Options > Privacy - Make sure Accept cookies from sites box is ticked and the accept third-party cookies box is ticked. Set the keep until drop down menu to "they expire".
