Default Leaking sunroof!

My sunroof has started leaking. I get soaked when go road a corner lol. Ive no rooflining as cars stripped but its coming from the handle to open and close it. Anyone know how can stop and whats the cause of it. The sunroof is closed fully too.

its from your ariel mate..

take the interior light out and put some silicone round the base of the ariel.solved mine that way

I solved mine the same way. look at the ariel, if not try a new sunroof seal?

Well the sunroof looks fine to me but will have a proper look at it later i think.

could be rain drains blocked also,just take rubber tube off & put some pressure down it to blow it clear

mine was from the rain drains blocked, where they had been blocked the water puddled in the inner skin on the roof and rusted a tiny little hole which the water was coming through and soaking my lineing and me!!! lol so try unblocking your rain drains with an air line!!!

Sorry for bumping an old-ish thread, but is the leaky sunroof a common problem on the Saxo's?

Think the seal on mine has gone as well.

it seems to be common prob. usually the ariel is the culprit. mine was leaking for a while. found out is sunroof seal. open your sunroof and check the seal for the glass isn't stretched.
