Default water in car..heater?

hello people.
i put a new radiator in my car because it was knackered and leaking water, and also noticed the footwells in my car were soaking, the passenger side more though i think. i replaced the radiator thinking this would sort the problem, and it holds the water better and seemed to be ok, then water started poorin into the footwells. ive been told its the heater or heater matrix or something and quite a costy job
is there anything i can do and how much do you reckon id be looking at paying to get it sorted?
cheers

hi mate, your best of replacing tbh, was the radiator deffo leaking as the heater matrix leaking will take water from the radiator header tank and dump in your footwells like it is.

I have recently done this on my saxo and it was a pig iam a mechanic and this is a pain in the arse you have to have all the dash off to gain accsess also why did the radiator go and how old was it the only reason I am asking is that heater matrix never really go cos of the age they go cos of excess presure the one I did blew the head gasket and caused the matrix to blow.
