Private Plate Question?
does anyone know how long it take to take a private plate off a car and put it on retention?
Im waiting for the private plate to be taken off my new car and would like to have an idea of how long it will take.

If they take it to a DVLA centre it can be done in one day.
I know it took me to have the plate took off the clio 3 weeks
This doesnt stop you owning th car though

We recently sold V1 SAX and it took about a week to get all the new paperwork through.
