Default Car let go on me last night.

Was driving home from work yesterday afternoon and had a sudden loss of power, the car was running on three and pinking its cock off!!!! i thought oh fuck there goes a piston managed to get the car home doin 28 mph in a 60 zone which everyone on the road was really impressed with!!! ha ha.

Once home i decided to check a few things like plugs etc, checked the oil and water and nothing had mixed together which was a good start. anyhow i put new plugs in and it was still the same so i decided to take the head off. Once the head was off i was relieved to see that the head gasket had blown inbetween cylinders 3 and 4. I bought a new gasket for £40 and it turned out to be a four layer metal gasket!! when i had my Pulsar Metal gaskets were £190!!! any one used one of these before?
