SSC Mods - Saxperience

Before anyone gets the wrong impression, I'm not using this as a bitching session towards anyone on the SSC, just to clear that one up.

I have been banned by PaulEY for using the exact sentence "pot calling kettle what?" after he accused someone of not having a sense of humour. Considering I'm a paid member on there, I'm not very happy with it.

I struggle to understand how people like PaulEY and DaveG are mods on there, they seem to have no interest in saxos, they never go to the LAMs or arrange anything, all they do is ban people and lock threads. I can appreciate people like G_Sleigh, Somers, s4xob etc being mods as they put a lot towards the club.

Anyway rant over, not a chance in hell am I renewing my membership there and by the looks of things they could do with all the members they can get right now.

Everyone looking forward to Xmas? I can't wait to finish work this week it's manic

PaulEY is a bell, fact. The rest are ok.
Sax-p is better.

when i first joined there it was good and none of this bitchin but now all the mods do is chuck bans about its a joke

sax-p is the place to be friendlyer people and more helpfull to

The problem on SSC is one which I hope will not appear on sax-p... The thing is - when sites get bigger and busier its hard for mod's to keep up with things.

Mod's dont get paid for what they do - they do it because thaey want to contribute. The busier a site gets, the harder it is to do a thorough job. This is generally why blanket rules and strict procedures come into force...

... and that's what I'm trying to avoid on sax-p.

Paul Evans and Dave Galpin are old-skool SSC peeps. They are in those positions because Mark Buckle knows them, trusts there judgement, etc.

They are actually decent people in real life, but I agree, sometimes online they tend to have short fuses.

and by the way, to whoever contributed to the FCS05 stand, it was awesome

not that you need me to tell you, I was in the Pug206CC stand opposite in my mate's black CC which she crashed yesterday

enjoy the site squire, SSC is ok sum good info on there, originally i was tacken under the umbrella of sax-p & TBH its the muts, freindly, very lil bitchin, lots of relitive info, the forum is both easy to use & well layed out, the mods are cool & very good at wot they do, none of this banning rubbish all the time... YOu also finf ppl get back to you very fast if you need advise or just want a question answerd... welcome to our community & enjoy the love
