My VT kitted Posi Blue MK2 Forte.
Hey, new to the site so thought I’d start off with a progression thread.
Bought myself a 1.1 2001 Citroen Saxo Forte in blue and as you can see from the pictures, the guy who owned it also liked to modify his car.
I personally didn’t like the white front & back badges, and the white wheels. Didn’t think white went very well with blue. I thought the tail lights looked a bit tacky too, so decide first thing I’d do was to change them.
I took off the white badges at the back and just replaced them with the standard colour ones. I took the Lexus style’s off and replaced them with the standard rear lights, then just went over them with a few coats of tinting spray. Didn’t want them completely black so went for a smoked/jewelled look.
I sprayed the wheels black, as well as the front Citroen logo, thought it went down a lot better then white. Also went over the side repeaters with a few coats of the tinting spray.
That’s as far as I’ve got, I was thinking next I’d t-cut the rear badges and maybe paint the headlights black, as think that would go pretty well with the blue/black look. Currently working on the audio but haven’t decided what to get yet. Any opinions of other things I could do, or my current plans?

Yeahhh i was thinking about lowering it because looking at it from the back is horrible, just need to save up the cash for it. And yeah spoiler was on it when i got it, thought it looked alright so kept it on.
Thanks, i got the spray from local motorist discount, but think you could get it off ebay or something for pretty cheap, called "Savage".

Yeah i think it's a nice combo. Yeah will try to t-cut it in the next few days i think, does look alot better. Ah sweet, seen angel eye ones about and would love to get them, but the only problem at the moment is money, however give it time and i'll probably pick up a pair when i can afford it. But in the meantime may just smoke it, will see how things go

"get rid of the lights" is a bit vague, any idea as to what ones?
Yeah once i get a lump sum will just spend it all on the car so should be good.

Righttt a few more updates, the wheels i bought didn't fit unless i went into buying spacers and really wasn't up for that, so sticking with the old VTR wheels and painting them matte black i think.
This weekend i plan to:
-Paint my vents, door cards and centre console possi blue
-Paint my mirror caps glossy black
-Paint my wheels matte black
-Do some smoothing work on my new boot
I bought the new boot as it was debadged, and meant i could fit a VT spoiler on it, riding me of that awful one on it now. I'm also planning on buying some fog lights and tinting them black.
Can probably tell i'm fond of the blue and black theme
Will hopefully get pics up of the coming weekends work, all depends how much of it actually gets done.
All comments and advice welcome
