I have decided that i will remove these door pins, to improve the security. I already have a Cobra Alarm and Additional immobiliser fitted, but i am sure that someone has tried to enter my car in last few weeks as the passenger door now lets water in at top Where will i get these rubber gromits from and are they easy to remove?

Measure the diameter of the hole first
Then when you buy them, make sure you buy the correct "inside diameter" or they wont fit right

i think you can get bags of different sized grommits from halfords for less than a pound. if not then either measure it or get ones which look roughly the same size and make them fit.

lol hardly near impossible. just means they can open your door in 30 seconds instead of 5 seconds

Without the pins, it'll be a lot harder to get in without resorting to brute force!
And thats where your alarm comes in

Guys im gonna do the same to mine soon as well but what i want in place of the door pins is flashing LED lights to go with the Clifford on on my dash..
Can you get these LED's as kits ready to be put in or do i have to buy all the seperates and find the right size gromit for say a 5mm LED ?
