Headlight spraying
I know this has probably been covered before
but how do you take the headlights apart to spray the backs?
there mk1 headlights, want them same colour as my wheels.

build a massive bonfire and then throw them on for about an hour. the heat will make the glue soft enough to pull apart.
you've got asbestos hands right? if you haven't, you're gonna need the thickest pair of oven gloves you can find.

put them in the oven for literally 20 - 30 secs at 200 C, then get a knife and break the seal around the light and pull apart.

So a new seal would need to be used when putting back together and is it just glue that holds it?

just buy some new sealant from homebase etc it needs to be water tight otherwise you'll get condensation etc...

heres how you do it but dont spray the whole thing like this guy did
