Goodwood Festival of Speed - Saxperience

This weekend i spent 2 days at the Goodwood Festival of Speed!

Was my first visit to this show, that i'd never really head of until my old man mentioned me going along with him!

Luckily the weather held out for us all weekend, and i got rather sunburnt!

I spent Saturday morning looking round all the stands and having a good look round some of the car that would be running up the hill!

It was extrememly difficult to get pictures of the cars on the stands as there was just people everywhere, but i managed to grab a few !

Then it was up to the Hillclimb to check out some of the cars doing what they do best! Some cars were going for decent runs, while others were there to just show off with a bit of wheelspin !

Then a look round a few of the stalls and the car manufactures showing their latest cars!

Sunday i disappeared into the forest rally stage and checked out Rally cars both new and old tearing up the gravel stage that had been layed out!

All in all, this was by far the best show i have ever been to! I've never seen such a collection of cars in one place! Both new and old!

Will defiantly be going back next year, but i'd only do the 1 day!

I was there friday.

Rally stage is best for pics the hillclimbs a bit shit for moving stuff.

Yea i have a fair few more of the Rallystage. All the dust done my head in though!

You saw a 205 T16, on a rally stage in the flesh!

I am utterly utterly jealous and gutted, i must see one before i die lol

That ones prepped for a Safari rally isnt it?

Alot didnt run on the friday this year which was unusual/very annoying.

A few people have reported the friday this year wasnt the usual standard.

Id have liked to have shot all weekend but its to sodding tiring. Did you get that car over to that dude in the end?

Dust wasnt that bad on friday tbh. Didnt seem to be causing much issues.

It was my first time seeing one actually being driven mate! I was pretty damn chuffed!

Not sure about what its prepped for in all honesty, i just know its a damn cool car!

I got covered at the jump every single time a car went past lol!

lol I didnt go to the jump, although wish I had found it for pics.

I covered the hairpin mostly, and couldnt get further inside the track as the track crossing was never open

Yea i know what you mean about the crossing, we got stuck inside for ages as they wouldn't open it back up to get across, which caused us to miss a few things!

There were a few 5+ min gaps between cars on the rally stage. When 1 person is standing there asking to cross it pissed me off when I got told to come back in 30mins.

The cars were at large intervals so if they let me through as soon as one had passed it wouldnt have been an issue.

A press pass would have been good
