Are these meant to lift oversteer badly?
Went round a corner slightly faster than i should have been going, it was tighter than it looked and it started to understeer badly, i came off the throttle and the back end really swung round, i just missed a tree and just ended up badly kerbing my wheel. is that meant to happen?? thought they handled well, didnt expect that much understeer, shat myself. Its been lowered 40mm and has my mates gas shocks all round to

By that much understeer, you mean you were driving too quick for the conditions and the car was incapable of making it around the corner at silly speeds?
And yes if you're on the limit and decide to lift off your arse is going to try to overtake you.

Just didnt expect it to be that bad. always thought it handled really well till that day. probably gonna spend a bit more money to tighten it up a bit.

just really didnt expect it to understeer that badly.

just trust the car to go round usually will even if you get a bit of understeer its usually controlable, i've had the ass kick out a few times when i've had to brake on a corner usually due to some tit pulling out infront of me or small furry bunnys lol!
Decent tyres help loads, my cars always handled well even as standard with a decent set of Eagle f1 tyres.

It wasnt a bit though mate, the car literally wasnt turning it went round but then gave up and i would have gone straight into the tree if i didnt lift off.

damp roads are usually worse than wet they are greasy. Yer of you life of on a corner you will fly sideways if your going quite quick lol, distrubs the weight of the car big time usually only on cars with a responsable bit of power cant do it on 1.4 ive tried haha.
You'd of been safer putting your foot in and having your front end moving round the corner.

I might not have hit the tree then lol if i was brave an kept my foot in i would have gone round eventually??
Just at the time really didnt think i would do it.

So there was a way of stopping the car from understeering and do come back with the obv comment "driving slower" i was driving at a resonable speed but just underestimated the gradient of the bend.
